ADR-0010 — Explicit named barrel in @kavo/core

Status: accepted

Context

src/index.ts could export * from every module — less maintenance, but the public surface would then change as a side effect of adding any internal export, and api-extractor diffs would be noisy.

Decision

The core barrel is an explicit named list, grouped by area. Everything it names is public API; everything else is internal regardless of file-level export keywords. The exports map exposes only the barrel (deep imports are not API).

Consequences

• The public surface changes only by editing one reviewed file — the natural input for a future api-extractor gate.
• Module augmentation (OperationMetadata, ADR-0007) has a single stable module id to target.
• Adding an export is a two-step (file + barrel) — deliberate friction.
